Food Poisoning

Image:Bacteria
Food poisoning occurs when contaminated food or drink is eaten.  We work closely with GP’s and Dorset Health Authority to monitor and control infectious disease in the community.

Usually this involves completing a questionnaire about the patients illness and food consumption, following any leads and advising how to prevent further spread of the disease.
